Born in Quilmes, Province of Buenos Aires, Fabricio Carolei aka Falu, is a self-taught skateboarder and artist, recognized mainly for his works in black ink.
Punk rock vinyls, old horror comics, skate culture and tattoos make up some of the themes he addresses in his work.
The fascination with seeking aesthetics from the marginal, reinterpreting it in pop elements, has been partly his search when drawing.
Today he works from his studio, where he produces pieces for various clothing brands, design studios, as well as for skateboards and record covers. He also creates murals and works in different techniques and supports.
Leather trim inspired by vintage models from the 1960s.
We inflated the leather thinly and discreetly.
It is commonly called "leather wrap" and is said to have been used as armor for racers in the past.
